Evan Ross And Ashlee Simpson Marry In Connecticut

Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson  were married in a private ceremony on Sunday (Aug. 31) at the home of the groom’s mother, Diana Ross, in Greenwich, Conn. Ashlee Simpson’s maid of honor was her sister, Jessica Simpson, according to E! Ashlee and Ross went public with their relationship in July 2013 and Ross popped the big question earlier this year in January. My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!! Hallelujah Hawaii !!! Simpson tweeted, attaching a glossy pic of the couple and showing off some new bling on her ring finger.

Ross has appeared in Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story and Jeff, Who Lives at Home, among other film projects. Next year, he will co-star in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -- Part 1, the third installment of the blockbuster franchise. Simpson shares a 5-year-old son with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, whom she divorced in 2011 after three years of marriage. The singer's last album, Bittersweet World, was released in 2008.
